Matt DiGennaro
Founder& CEO

Matt has spent over 25 years on Wall Street working in the securities and asset management business. He has worked in various trading, sales and executive roles, and he was ultimately head of Bank of America’s $38 billion asset management division for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America.  Matt has considerable global perspective having lived and worked in the financial district of London and conducted business in over 45 countries. In addition to retirement plans, high net-worth individuals and foundations, he has worked with some of the world’s largest corporations, sovereign wealth funds and foreign central banks. Matt earned both his B.A. and his M.B.A in Finance from Florida State University.


Valerie DiGennaro

Valerie DiGennaro
Managing Partner

Valerie joined SWM Advisors with nearly 20 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking, serving as a trusted advisor to middle-market companies and executives throughout Florida’s west coast. Her prior roles include Commercial Executive for Cadence Bank, Regional Director for Citi, and Senior Vice President for Wells Fargo. Valerie maintains an active role in the community by serving on several non-profit boards in the Tampa Bay area. She is also a graduate of Leadership Tampa Bay, Leadership Tampa, and Leadership Pinellas. Valerie earned both her B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of Florida, where she was a Matherly Scholar.



Doug Case, CFA, CAIA
Chief Investment Officer

Prior to joining SWM Advisors, Doug accumulated over 25 years of experience in the asset management industry. He was previously the President and Chief Investment Officer for Advanced Investment Partners where he was responsible for over $2 billion in AUM with clients ranging from HNW individuals to some of the world’s largest pension plans. Previously, Doug was a senior investment manager responsible for over $10 billion with Florida’s public employee retirement system. Doug earned his M.B.A. from Florida State University and received dual undergraduate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh in Applied Mathematics and Business Administration.



Vikram Kuriyan, PhD, CFA
Chief Market Strategist

Vikram was previously the global head of Quantitative Strategies at Bank of America’s asset management division managing over $30 billion and chairman of BofA’s Global Asset Allocation Committee.  Vikram has advised the Securities and Exchange Board of India and is a faculty member at the Indian School of Business.  Vikram earned his PhD at Harvard University where he specialized in capital markets in a joint program offered by the Departments of Economics, Engineering Sciences and the Harvard Business School.  He received a Master’s degree in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.



Andi Mullins, CPA
Chief Compliance Officer

Prior to joining SWM Advisors, Andi served in several accounting and operations positions in the asset management businesses of Raymond James Financial from 1990 until 2010. In her final position, she was chief financial officer of Eagle Family of Funds, and the S.E.C.-certifying officer for all 10 of the Eagle publicly registered mutual funds, with over $5.7 billion in assets. In 2013 she became a member of the board of directors for the Valued Advisers Trust, a series of mutual funds. Andi holds B.S. degrees in accounting and finance from Florida State University, and is a certified public accountant in Florida.



Set Carpintero
Senior Analyst

Prior to joining SWM Advisors, Set worked with ConvergEx Group, a leading provider of global brokerage and trading related services for institutional investors and financial intermediaries. His role as an operations analyst provided insight into both domestic and foreign capital markets as well specific demand for investment products and services offered by firms on Wall Street.  Set provided investment support to investment advisors, hedge funds, mutual funds, endowment funds, family offices, separately managed accounts, broker dealers, sovereign wealth funds, and various other financial market participants.  Set earned his B.B.A. in accounting from Stetson University.
